Corporate Social Investment We are proud of our Social Investment programme which has to-date focussed on education and youth development. Since 1996, NPM GEOMATICS Inc. has focussed on supporting previously disadvantaged students either financially with their studies and/or by providing a full year of comprehensive in-service training. We do not subscribe to the philosophy of merely using students as a cheap source of labour. Mentoring and coaching is considered more important than mere financial support. We are strongly committed to providing students with marketable skills should we not be able to place them within our organisation. Recently, as many as 5 students have been employed per annum within the company. Each student shadows an experienced technician to understand, learn and gain experience in the field of surveying. Surveyors who have trained within the NPM GEOMATICS Inc programmes either remain with the company or have easily found employment elsewhere.
Community Involvement NPM GEOMATICS contributes directly to supporting the disadvantaged in our community through the active participation of Colin Davies in the Community Services projects of the Rotary Club of Gately in East London.
